We Love to Shop

"Girl, I need to shop. Want to shop with me?"

Long pause and confused look on her face, "Duh. Let's do this. But I'm still in my jammies." (That's the beauty of this shopping experience/learning activity.)

I had selected a few items on random pages of this Oriental Trading catalog. She had to go through the catalog and circle the exact items that I had listed on my "Shopping List."

Kindergarten is just around the corner for this little one and we always need some good number practice and review. This was really easy to put together, easy for her to do, and most importantly, fun.

Even Jack wanted to play/shop.

Afterwards, Afton asked, "So when will these things come in the mail? I'm really excited to get them." (That was not fun explaining to her that it was just for fun and not a real shopping experience.)

"I'll probably never shop with you again."

We will see about that one girl. I'm calling your bluff!
