Herding Cats

7 million kids.

At the zoo... I mean the new aquarium, at the zoo.

All wanting to see different things, at different times, with different pairings of kids every time.

It's like herding cats.

At least they are cute, little cats... I mean kids.

Fun bunch to herd them with. (Christian Bateman, it was so nice to have you hang out with us!)

Little Pumpkin

She got to pick out any one she wanted. All her friends were there and they picked out one too.

She knew that everyone was going to pick one with a stump.

But there was one without and she wanted it.

I tried to get her to pick another one, but she got sad.

I asked her why later.

"He looked sad. Everyone always wants the ones with stumps. And this little guy would never get picked. That hurts his feelings. So I don't like that."

She is the sweetest little preschooler there ever was.

Something They Love

Hmmmm...

What is something they love? Soda

What is something we want them to love?
LDS General Conference

How can I use something that they already love to help them build a love, hopefully a growing love for something so important, and kinda boring for little kids, such as the General Conference?

I'm going to entice them to listen with very large bottles of soda.

Is this genius?
Or is this just an eventual hot, sticky, mess?

We will see.
