My little girl is sad.
Her big sister has a friend over.
It's hard as a 3 year old to understand what big girls mean when they say, "We're playing big girl games. But, in a little bit we will play with you. Just not right now. Is that fine?"
She cried in her room, "I is not fine. No it's not fine. I an a big girl too."
And honestly, once she calmed down, I had her come do big girl things with me... like cutting out hearts for a FHE activity later.
And I think that for a 3 year old, her fine motor skills are beyond fine. They are exceptional.
"Thanks Momma. I is fine now. Yook at my heart you teached me to make so nice."
