Stumbled upon this little place this morning. And it was breathtaking.
Who cared that we didn't see this beautiful lavender garden with a waterfront backdrop - all the lavender had been cut back because it was the end of the season.
We had ice cream at 10 in the morning made with that lavender, so it more than made up for the let down of missing the pretty purple that we had hoped to see. (Afton was bummed there was no strawberry flavor, but still loved it. Jack hated it. Jocelyn double-spooned it!)
We also have some lovely lavender soap and sachets to help us relax in our new home. (Boy do we need help relaxing so I agreed to the purchase!)
