Nope. He got to spend it studying, practicing, preparing, crying, deep breathing, and hyper-ventilating over his first round of Boards exams. The entire time off, he was at school studying. We (3 kids and myself ~ CRAZY!) did get away to Utah for a few days to let him have the house to himself to study. He was appreciative, but sad to be alone.
Overall, we were so tired of him studying, but knew he had to work hard to get ready. So we let him do what he had to do. (We missed him A LOT!)
This is what this chair looked like, along with my dining room table, when we returned from Utah. :)
A good luck treat for my sugar.
When I was a teacher I would give my kids "BRAIN PILLS" before big tests.
It was usually Skittles, but Ice Breakers works too.
He took the test up in St. George, Utah and to ensure that we had some sort of vacation on his break, we planned a fun evening up there. We met Daddy on Friday after the big test at the St. George Temple grounds. I felt like we/HE could use all the blessings we/HE could get. The babies waited patiently having fun exploring the grounds.
I love this picture. Just wish they were looking at me.
Found a WHITE lady bug. Even they wear white when attending the Temple. :)

All Jack wanted for this trip was some pool time. He especially wanted a hotel with a pool. Ours had a pool (along with bed bugs ~ HA. It was so gross.), but Bryce and Michelle Bott invited us to their friend's condo instead. Way nicer! Thank you Bott family.
Ahh ~ not BORED anymore.
We watched as they had fun in the pool.
Our creepy hotel - blood red and mustard yellow walls, blue carpet, sweet floral comforters, and a gap 2 inches wide under the front door that allowed any number of things to crawl in during the night.
(Couldn't go anywhere else because everywhere was booked since Dixie graduation was that weekend, along with the IRON MAN competition. BUMMER.)
The next morning we enjoyed our very first visit to KNEADERS.
Love Jack's face!
The french toast helped us to forget our terrible motel experience.
Absolutely delicious and did you know there are FREE refills on the French Toast?
Some people actually were able to eat more then the first 2 giant pieces they received.
(We were NOT those people!)
After breakfast we went to the Washington City Rec Center. We had lots of fun doing all kinds of activities.
Basketball
Pickle Ball
Swimming
She is so big now. 8 weeks old
Jack loves cotton candy. He was such a mess!
Daddy loving his baby girl.
They were no longer BORED from BOARDS, but they sure were tired!
Had to grab Chick-fil-A.
We had a fun time in St. George. It was a short trip, but just enough to help us kick our boredom! Daddy is back in school today, bummer. We love him and wish him the best of luck during this semester. Crazy he is already in his 3rd year. :) Love you sugar.
Fingers crossed that he did well on his big Boards test.
