Winners

We won tickets to the game.

My babes were picked (out of a sea of 70+ year olds) to participate in the putting contest, where everyone is a winner just for trying.

They won merchandise coupons and Jack in the Box tacos (I freaking love those weird tacos.)

Then, because someone hit a triple in the third inning, we (along with everyone in the stands) won FIVE gift certificates to a restaurant in Palm Springs - that we will kindly share with our friends.

Then my big kids were given foul balls by some nice guy who wanted to make sure they had a "Memorable time at the game."

And Jocelyn got two different flavors of cotton candy so win - win for her.

And if we had stuck around for one more run, then the whole family would have won Jack in the Box tacos. (Daddy's silly job and his stupid need to get up super early in the am ruin all the fun.)

Basically, the Westra family is a bunch of winners. As if there was ever any doubt.
