SNOW Worried

I was "SNOW" worried that I wouldn't be able to get my kids personalized Valentine cards done this year because I have been so busy.

But it came to me last night, as I laid in bed plotting ways to spend all of my Sugar's money... He is convinced I do this.

These will just have to do.

Attach to a tiny bag of marshmallows.

Way cuter than the boring store bought ones, and not even that much more money.

Plus, my babes won't be little for too much longer. I have to splurge while they still let me!

Hide and Seek

My big girl wanted to play hide and seek in this joint.

I thought it best that we not do that.

There may have been a few reasons as to why I would "Ruin the most epic game of hide and seek."

First, crazy stairs.

Another being that the ground wasn't even and I tripped over my own feet at least 3 times in a 7 minute time span.
(Stop laughing at me.)
Next, so many places to fall off and break your leg!
Another being that it was like a labyrinth through all the tiny hallways.

Oh yeah and because as soon as the flashlight on my phone turned off on accident, she wigged out like she was a toddler in dark room at bedtime, reaching for my hand with a little whimper.
It was super dark in there, like pitch black super dark in there.
(In all honesty, it would be an amazing place to play hide and seek, when they are a bit older. But not know. Where the heck is Jocelyn?)

Magic Fairy

So far, we have been pretty lucky.

As my sister-in-law Stephanie would say, my Magic Fairy has been hard at work.

And if that is the case, I am thankful so much for my Magic Fairy.

We have had close proximity with our 29 Palms Duty Station, still only a few hours away from our loved ones in Las Vegas.

And here now in Bremerton with his Bangor Duty Station, we are only an hour or so away from a different set of our family.

And oh how thankful I am for that close proximity.

Who knows if we will always be so lucky to have this close proximity? Who knows if my Magic Fairy will always do her job? Who freaking knows if we will even stay in the Navy? (My Sugar changes his mind every other day.)

But, either way, I am thankful for my family, the ones close in proximity, and the ones who are far enough away to keep me from going crazy! (Ha, I joke. I joke. That was funny!) Thankful for all of you, truly.

And I can't forget, I am oh so thankful for my Magic Fairy.

Sunny Seattle

No joke, when the sun is out, there is a sense of enthusiasm in the air around here.

Everyone is out!
And most importantly, they are out enjoying life and the little things that make them happy.
Betsy is not thrilled with the help Uncle Scock is providing.
For us, those little things include, the sunshine, family time outside, and of course ice cream on a warm winter day in downtown Seattle.
For this guy walking on water, it was a whole lot of weed that makes him happy, and the sunshine too of course.

A sunny day in Seattle... could there be anything better?
