Heart Shaped Pizza

Valentine's dinner with the twins was "de-yish-us."

John John sounds just like Jocelyn a few years ago, so it just makes me swoon.

That, and he is the sweetest little boy ever, other than my own John.

Really missing our cute twins and all the Washington family!

SNOW Worried

I was "SNOW" worried that I wouldn't be able to get my kids personalized Valentine cards done this year because I have been so busy.

But it came to me last night, as I laid in bed plotting ways to spend all of my Sugar's money... He is convinced I do this.

These will just have to do.

Attach to a tiny bag of marshmallows.

Way cuter than the boring store bought ones, and not even that much more money.

Plus, my babes won't be little for too much longer. I have to splurge while they still let me!

Leaves

Being born in Las Vegas Vegas I'm not used to these things.

They come in all shapes, sizes, and even colors.

They are beautiful, and everywhere.

They made a wonderful backdrop for our family pictures this year, and all we had to was go out in our front yard.

(Don't ask if if they're fun to clean up though. The answer is not as lovely as my babes in these cute pictures. )

Some photos seem like duplicates, but either Jocelyn or Jack are doing something crazy with their face to make the picture funny.

Or my sugar is holding my waist like we're expecting to make the picture look funny.

Or Jack is photo bombing to make the picture look funny.

Or each child is completing a "Spin" picture to make their hair look glamorous, or in Jack's case, funny.

We love the leaves. We love our funny babes. We especially love when our funny babes play in the leaves. (We love it even more when they clean them up.)

Invited to Party

I see so many pictures of friends attending glamorous parties on New Year's Eve, beautiful dresses, fancy suits, and glittering lights.

And we were invited last night to a fun party. In fact, we've been invited the last 2 years in a row by good friends who want to include us.

But somehow, we've declined. Alright... it's so true that we would love to at a fun party with our fun friends. But... we've got these 3 little babes who always affect our thought process. Always. ALWAYS!

It would be so fun to have an adult evening ringing in the New Year like I see in all sorts of pictures of friends, or even in 8 million movies who make this evening seem so glamorous.

But for now, our 3 little babes still like us (somewhat). They still want to hang out with us and stay up late. They still enjoy popping balloons filled with fun activities. They still smile and laugh through the night while we are exhausted. They are going on partying hard thanks to a mixture of sugar rush and adrenaline, while watching the clock trying to figure why we didn't set them forward like we had talked about doing the years before.

So... for now, we will continue to have fun with our 3 babes, ringing in the New Year, while wearing comfy pants and my Cheers sweater, dreaming of beautiful dresses, fancy suits, and glittering lights.
