6th grade. 7th grade. 8th grade.
More times than I can remember my best friend, Shar and I, would walk to Wendy's up the street from our houses.
We did this so we could "work out." Not like we needed to back in the day, but it was fun nonetheless.
But because of our "hard working out" efforts, we always rewarded ourselves with our own Frosty and large fries.
We were so smart.
So today, after all of our "hard working" efforts of party planning and baptism preparing, my new best friends and I, rewarded ourselves with a Frosty.
But I refrained from the large fries this time.
I've grown a bit wiser in my old, can't lose the weight like I used to, age.
Tonight I had a date.
Tonight I got flowers.
Tonight he told me I looked pretty and wanted another picture with me.
Tonight I went out to eat at a place that was special for just him and me, as we had been there before. Just us on a special night.
Tonight I got to be his one and only.
Tonight I was with someone special.
A few other pictures to enjoy from the Someone Special Dance.
Magic is real.
First, my baby girl asked me to take her picture.
Then, her brother willingly went and stood next to her for a picture.
And would you believe it, my big girl did the same.
My babes were being so nice to each other the whole time!
